The verdict
The Novo Flex is Human Touch's transition into SL-track 4D territory — the FlexGlide orbital now combined with genuine in-out depth — making it the first Human Touch chair that competes directly on therapeutic depth rather than design alone.
The Novo Flex ($7,999) fills an important gap in the Human Touch lineup — it's the most affordable Human Touch chair with both SL-track coverage and 3D/4D roller technology. The FlexGlide orbital massage system adds a lateral motion to the standard vertical roller path, creating wider strokes that cover more muscle area per pass. Combined with Cloud Touch airbag compression, Altec Lansing Bluetooth speakers, and zero-gravity recline, the Novo Flex is the right choice for buyers who want premium SL-track performance without the $11,000+ Super Novo price tag.
Human Touch buyers ready for the brand's first genuine SL-track 4D capability and who accept the moderate intensity philosophy
- ✓4D FlexGlide rollers combine orbital motion with in-out depth — a genuine step change from the WholeBody series below it
- ✓SL-track covers neck through thighs — the first Human Touch chair to offer full glute reach
- ✓2-stage zero gravity for meaningful spinal decompression
- ✓38 airbags for solid full-body compression
- ✓3yr warranty and larger fit range for taller users
- ✕Lumbar heat only at $7,999 — full-body heat is available from competitors at the same price
- ✕No smart features at all — no Bluetooth, app, or voice — at $8,000 this is a significant gap
- ✕Moderate intensity ceiling; Human Touch's characteristic gentleness is the design philosophy, for better or worse

Common questions about the Human Touch Novo Flex
- How far does the roller path extend on the Human Touch Novo Flex?
- SL-Track on the Human Touch Novo Flex means the roller path traces your spine from cervical to lumbar and then curves under into the seat area, reaching the glutes. More ground covered than either an S- or L-Track alone — better for chronic lower back issues.
- What roller technology does the Human Touch Novo Flex use?
- The Human Touch Novo Flex features 4D rollers, which control both depth and the speed of each individual stroke independently. The result is a more rhythmic, human-like massage — the rollers can slow down and press deeper on tight spots, then speed up through less tense areas.
- Can the Human Touch Novo Flex recline into a zero gravity position?
- Yes — the Human Touch Novo Flex reclines into a zero gravity position, tilting your body so your legs rise above your heart. This reduces spinal compression and allows the rollers to work with gravity rather than against it, deepening the therapeutic effect.
- Is there built-in heat on the Human Touch Novo Flex?
- Yes — the Human Touch Novo Flex includes built-in heat, typically in the lumbar and sometimes calf sections. Heat loosens muscle tissue before and during the massage, making roller pressure more effective without needing to increase intensity.
- How much weight can the Human Touch Novo Flex support?
- The Human Touch Novo Flex is rated for a maximum user weight of 285 lbs (129 kg). Staying within this limit ensures both effective massage delivery and long-term mechanical reliability.
- Who does the Human Touch Novo Flex fit in terms of height?
- The Human Touch Novo Flex is calibrated for taller users over 6′4″. Body scanning will auto-adjust the roller path, but the physical dimensions of the chair are optimised for this range.
- How many airbags does the Human Touch Novo Flex have?
- The Human Touch Novo Flex is fitted with 38 airbags distributed across the shoulders, arms, hips, and calves. More airbags generally means better coverage and more even compression pressure.
- Is the Human Touch Novo Flex covered by a warranty?
- 3 years warranty on the Human Touch Novo Flex. Coverage terms (parts vs. labour, in-home vs. depot service) can vary by retailer and region, so verify before buying.
