The verdict
The Luminary Syner-D introduces dual tandem roller mechanisms that mimic two masseuses working in sync — an approach that genuinely feels different from single-mechanism chairs and justifies the $12,999 ask.
Buyers who want the Syner-D dual-mechanism experience and value SL-track coverage with space efficiency
PROS
- ✓Syner-D dual mechanism moves two sets of rollers in choreographed rhythm — covers twice the spinal area per pass
- ✓SL-track extends coverage from neck through thighs — full-body without an L-track's neck gap
- ✓Wall-saving space technology requires only 2" clearance for full recline — unusually space-efficient for the size
- ✓Voice control and wireless charging included at this tier
- ✓32 airbags deliver focused compression at key points
CONS
- ✕Lumbar heat only at $12,999 — every competitor at this price offers full-body heat
- ✕32 airbags is notably modest for a flagship-tier chair (Luraco i9 has 100 at a comparable price)
- ✕3yr warranty is the category minimum — Luraco and Infinity's own Sovana offer 5yr here

Common questions about the Infinity Luminary Syner-D
- How does the Infinity Luminary Syner-D's roller system follow the spine?
- The Infinity Luminary Syner-D is built with an S-Track system, designed to follow your spine from the base of your neck to your lumbar region. Concentrated and accurate — a good choice if spinal massage is the priority.
- How advanced are the rollers in the Infinity Luminary Syner-D?
- 4D rollers on the Infinity Luminary Syner-D add a time dimension to the standard 3D movement — varying the pace and pressure of each stroke as they move. It's noticeably more organic than fixed-speed 3D, and better at replicating real massage technique.
- Is zero gravity included in the Infinity Luminary Syner-D?
- The Infinity Luminary Syner-D includes zero gravity reclining. In this position, your legs are elevated above heart level, taking pressure off the lumbar spine and improving circulation. Most users find it noticeably more effective than massaging in an upright position.
- Does the Infinity Luminary Syner-D have a heat function?
- The Infinity Luminary Syner-D features heat therapy. The warmth relaxes tight muscles before the rollers work on them, which is especially noticeable in the lower back. Many users find heated sessions significantly more effective than unheated ones.
- How does body scanning work on the Infinity Luminary Syner-D?
- Body scanning on the Infinity Luminary Syner-D means you don't have to manually adjust roller positions. The chair maps your spine before each session and sets itself up accordingly — particularly useful if the chair is shared by people of different heights.
- What weight limit does the Infinity Luminary Syner-D have?
- Maximum user weight on the Infinity Luminary Syner-D is 300 lbs (approximately 136 kg). Exceeding this can stress the roller mechanism and track system, so it's worth checking before purchase.
- Is the Infinity Luminary Syner-D suitable for taller or shorter users?
- Based on frame dimensions and roller travel, the Infinity Luminary Syner-D is best suited for users between 5′4″ and 6′0″. Users outside this range may find the roller path doesn't align optimally with their spine.
- What airbag coverage does the Infinity Luminary Syner-D offer?
- The Infinity Luminary Syner-D includes 32 airbags, covering the shoulders, arms, hips, and calves with alternating compression. Airbag massage improves circulation and reduces muscular tension between roller passes.
- What warranty does the Infinity Luminary Syner-D come with?
- The manufacturer covers the Infinity Luminary Syner-D with a 3 years warranty. Ask your retailer specifically about in-home labour coverage — that's often the most valuable part of a massage chair warranty.
