The verdict
The OP Vera 4D is Osaki's airbag-focused 4D chair — 72 airbags in a large-footprint chassis delivers a compression experience that rivals dedicated airbag-first chairs while maintaining 4D roller capability.
Airbag-first buyers who want the most comprehensive compression coverage in the $8,000 range without sacrificing 4D roller quality
PROS
- ✓72 airbags is exceptional for a $7,999 chair — one of the highest counts at this price tier across all brands
- ✓4D roller capability for precise depth control alongside the class-leading compression
- ✓Aggressive intensity option satisfies users who need more than moderate pressure
- ✓SL-track for neck-to-thigh coverage
- ✓Voice control for hands-free session management
CONS
- ✕Lumbar heat only at $7,999 — full-body heat should realistically be included at this price
- ✕2-stage zero gravity; the 72-airbag coverage comes with a trade-off on decompression depth
- ✕Large footprint; the airbag chassis required for 72 cells is physically bulky

Common questions about the Osaki OS-Ai VERA 4D+
- Does the Osaki OS-Ai VERA 4D+ cover the lower back and glutes?
- The Osaki OS-Ai VERA 4D+ uses an SL-Track — the rollers follow a continuous arc from your neck and shoulders all the way through your glutes. It's the most complete roller coverage available, and particularly effective for lower back and hip tension.
- What type of rollers does the Osaki OS-Ai VERA 4D+ have?
- With 4D rollers, the Osaki OS-Ai VERA 4D+ goes beyond depth adjustment — each stroke can vary in speed and intensity as it travels. It's the most sophisticated roller technology below 5D/6D, and produces a significantly more natural massage feel.
- Does the Osaki OS-Ai VERA 4D+ support zero gravity reclining?
- Yes, the Osaki OS-Ai VERA 4D+ supports zero gravity recline — a position that distributes body weight evenly and reduces spinal load. It also allows the rollers to reach deeper into muscle tissue, making the same pressure setting feel more effective.
- Does the Osaki OS-Ai VERA 4D+ include heat therapy?
- Heat therapy is built into the Osaki OS-Ai VERA 4D+. It pre-warms muscle tissue to improve roller penetration — a small feature that makes a measurable difference, particularly for chronic tension in the lumbar region.
- Does the Osaki OS-Ai VERA 4D+ adjust to my body shape?
- Yes — the Osaki OS-Ai VERA 4D+ uses built-in sensors to map your spine length and shoulder width before each session, automatically positioning the rollers to match your exact frame.
- What is the maximum weight capacity of the Osaki OS-Ai VERA 4D+?
- The Osaki OS-Ai VERA 4D+ supports up to 275 lbs (125 kg). This is a hard limit from the manufacturer — the motor and frame are rated to this specification.
- What height range is the Osaki OS-Ai VERA 4D+ designed for?
- The Osaki OS-Ai VERA 4D+ fits users between 5′4″ and 6′0″ most effectively. If you're outside this range, it's worth demoing in-store or checking the chair's height adjustment settings before purchasing.
- Does the Osaki OS-Ai VERA 4D+ have airbag compression?
- With 32 airbags, the Osaki OS-Ai VERA 4D+ provides wide compression coverage across the upper and lower body. The squeeze-and-release pattern mimics lymphatic drainage techniques and complements the roller massage.
- How long is the warranty on the Osaki OS-Ai VERA 4D+?
- The Osaki OS-Ai VERA 4D+ includes a 5 years warranty. Always confirm exact coverage terms — particularly in-home service provisions — with your retailer at time of purchase.
